If you never thought Netter, Moore, and Goljan would be over for dinner every night or you used to think match day had something to do with tennis, marrying a medical student has surely been a learning experience. This is for the women and men who worry about USMLE scores, research residencies, and sometimes even visit the anatomy lab but who have no medical expertise. We are the spouses of medical students. The roller coaster has just begun.

My DH is an internal medicine intern and rarely wears his ring to work. He probably could get away with wearing it most days, but one of his friends in med school lost his wedding ring at the hospital so many times that DH is afraid to risk it. So I have to "remarry" him whenever we go somewhere other than the hospital :)
Haha, yeah, Mr. already lost his original ring in the ocean this summer. And, in fact, his real ring didn't get in in time for the wedding, so he had to wear one that was too big for the pictures and the honeymoon.
The real question, though, is how are all my friends who are nurses supposed to meet a nice, single doctor when the married ones can't wear their rings? ;)
Maybe he needs to get a ring tattoo :)
Well, since Mr. isn't a rock star, and I'm neither Pam Anderson nor the pregnant teenage daughter of a Vice Presidential candidate, I think we'll pass on the tattoo ring. :)
